San Diego Beer And Music Festival


The San Diego Beer and Music Festival is an event held on October 28, 2017, it’s held at night at NTC Park in Liberty Station, it celebrates craft beer and live music. This event raises money for 501c3 Non-profit which is collaborated by Rockstarbeer Productions and many local breweries. Come and enjoy unlimited samples of over 100 craft beers from local and non local breweries. Artists like Mickey Avalon and Dirty Nasty will be performing on the main stage. There will be Halloween events being held with Halloween Characters walking around so I highly recommend wearing your Halloween costume and enjoy your beer!

A home earthquake kit is probably one of the most important kits you need to get for you and your family in order to help you in an earthquake situation.

Essentials you will need:

  • Water – minimum one gallon a day for each person in your home for at least 4 days and ideally 2 most weeks
  • Canned and packaged foods for three days for each person in your home
  • Manual can opener
  • Working flashlight with extra batteries
  • Portable radio with extra batterie
  • Dust mask or bandana
  • Whistle to alert rescuers to your location
  • Emergency cash in small bills
  • Wrenches to turn off gas and water supplies
  • First aid kit and handbook
  • Copies of vital documents such as insurance policies, medical consent forms, list of emergency contacts, prescription list, personal identification, drivers license, all stored in a water-resistant folder or container
  • Pens & pad of paper for leaving notes
  • Work gloves for each adult
  • Protective gloves for each member of the family
  • Heavy duty plastic bags for waste and to use as tarps or rain panchos

For pets include:

  • pet food and water for 4 days
  • pet leash and water bowl
  • pet carrier

  • Camp stove for outdoor cooking or bbq

If you’re in San Diego and you would like to know about a great place to go visit, I want to tell you about a place called Old Town San Diego located in the Mission Valley area. Old Town is greatly visited every year from millions of people, natives as well as tourists from all over the world. Old Town carries a lot of history, like museums, old haciendas and the first public schoolhouse in San Diego, to name a few. It also holds various festivals throughout the year like Cinco De Mayo for example. There are many things to do during the day like go shopping and like I mentioned before, visit the museums, visit the various old buildings and last but definitely not least, enjoy the delicious authentic Mexican cuisine with homemade tortillas served while also enjoying music from a mariachi band.
